Much like you, the animals at the zoo have their social moments and times when they’d prefer to rest. So in order to create a consistent Atlanta Zoo experience, we created “The Herd,” a multi-synced audio tour that lets you hear their tales together.

• To get started, click an area of the map (most people start in the African Plains).
• On the next page, locate the animal you wish to hear more about and click.
• When you’re finished with the African Plains, move onto the African Rainforest (or another area) by returning to this map.
• Listen to their sound and their story, then hear another and another.
